Samsung R&D Institute China-Guangzhou (SRC-G), which was founded in September 2008, is an overseas R&D Center for the commercial mobile phone and accessories established by Samsung Electronics in China. Since its establishment, it has been committed to developing high quality mobile terminals for the mainstream operators and consumers in China, America, Europe and other regions.

At present, the staff of SRC-G is nearly 1,000, and more than 70% of them are R&D members. SRC-G develops hundreds of commercial mobile phone products and produces hundreds of patents every year. The business field covers all stages of mobile R&D, including S/W, H/W, mechanic development, software testing and product endurance testing, etc.
