Samsung R&D Institute China-Beijing (SRC-B) is an advanced research and development center of Samsung Electronics established in 2000.
SRC Beijing emphasizes groundbreaking technology and specializes in artificial intelligence and 4G/5G/next generation telecommunications, from speech interaction and computer vision to 3GPP standardization.
Today large numbers of SRC-B technologies have been commercialized in the form of Samsung products. SRC-B promotes industrial-academic partnership and has been operating postdoctoral workstations as high-tech enterprises. SRC-B keeps looking for talents to work together to shape the life of the future.
In April 2019, SRC Beijing established AI Lab. The AI Lab focuses on fundamental research of Machine Learning, and also seeks the possibility of applying the research results to Samsung products. Prof. Zhouchen Lin from Peking University, as a Vice President of Samsung, is the part-time director of AI Lab.
