Talent Booster: New Version of Internship Program

We are excited to announce a new version of the internship program at Samsung R&D Institute Poland (SRPOL)! It has a new name, a logo and additional development benefits for our interns – meet the Talent Booster! Talent Booster is the generic name for the internship program at SRPOL, and all activities aimed at interns will from now on be published and promoted under this name.

This year, we have launched two initiatives enabling trainees to improve their qualifications and acquire new skills. The first is the opportunity to participate in the SW Academy prepared specifically for trainees, which will offer 3 training modules. Each will consist of a theoretical introduction, self-work and a discussion of tasks. Trainees will also be able to benefit from individual consultations with an expert to discuss issues of particular nature. The second initiative, introduced for the first time this year, is the Talent Booster Training Program, an especially composed training series that includes both technical and soft skills training. As part of the program, trainees will be able to take part in training on organization and time management, communication and the opportunity to complete an Extended Disc analysis and discuss the results in a feedback session. Technical training courses will include Python & Data Analysis, Data Science through the eyes of the philosophy of science and Git for beginners.

The Talent Booster Training program will be open to participants who meet several criteria – seniority at SRPOL of more than 4 months, availability of no less than 24 hours per week, and a positive recommendation from the leader. Each participant will receive a named certificate upon completion of the program.
What is more, further editions of the Talent Booster Training program are planned. The next one will take place in the autumn/winter season.

In order to reinforce the message and to communicate information about Talent Booster to our trainees in the best possible way, we also organized a "Talent Booster Opening Day". On June 14, 2023, an event was held during which we had the honor of hosting MD Yuna. During the event, to which all trainees working at SRPOL were invited, we provided information about what we had prepared as part of the new version of the trainee program. The participants had the opportunity to hear about training courses, as well as to meet some of our SRPOL employees who started their careers in our company with an internship and who are a great example of how to successfully develop competencies and climb the career ladder. In the end, all our guests received specially prepared gifts with the Talent Booster logo.

In addition to internal activities, the Talent Acquisition team has prepared a plan to externally promote the Talent Booster program. A campaign to reach out to potential internship candidates will be launched soon. Talent Booster will also be promoted at job fairs and conferences, and at the best technical universities in Poland.

We are delighted to be able to offer our interns a program that will allow them to better exploit their potential and develop their skills. We are convinced that the Talent Booster will be a great opportunity to gain new competencies and spread wings in our company.
