Samsung R&D Institute Ukraine (SRUKR) has been honored with the "For Merits to Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" award by the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" (KPI). This recognition highlights SRUKR’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and driving innovation through its long-standing partnership with one of Ukraine’s leading academic institutions.
KPI, ranked as the top university in Ukraine, plays a pivotal role in SRUKR’s talent pipeline, with 32% of SRUKR engineers graduating from its esteemed programs. Since 2009, SRUKR and KPI have collaborated on initiatives that bridge academia and industry, including pioneering dual IT education in Ukraine, joint laboratories, over 20 AI and Cybersecurity-centric collaborative research projects, and more.
These efforts have not only strengthened the educational landscape but also equipped students with real-world skills through internships and practices at SRUKR. Additionally, SRUKR engineers contribute to refining KPI’s curricula to ensure alignment with evolving industry demands.
This award reflects the collective dedication of individuals across both organizations who have worked tirelessly to achieve shared goals.
