Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD) just organized its Monthly SWC Coding Contest for June and the results are in with the foremost talents of the institute finishing at the top. The winners in chronological orders are Monikrishna Roy (MAG 2), Arpan Bhowmik (MAG 1), Shahed Ahmed (MAG 2) and Md. Hasanur Rahman (MAG 1).
The SWC Coding Contest is an event held monthly by SRBD to promote a culture of problem-solving and learning among the engineers of the institute. The contest for June was held on 24th of the month between the hours of 2:00pm – 6:00pm. A total of hundred and forty-four (144) participants, whose eligibilities were determined by their “SWC Advanced Level” status, were required to solve customized problems using C, C++ and Java. The ranking was based on the score first, with run time and submission time being considered in the event of a tie.
The questions were developed by MAG 1’s very own Khan Sadee Mahmud and Md.Nahidul Islam with the coordination of Muhammad Ashraf-ul Asad.
The event was coordinated by Nawshera Sharmin from Human Resources while S.M. Rezaul Haque from R&D Operations Group designed the poster.
While the event was a big success, the certificate and prize coupons could not be handed over due to the ongoing pandemic. The winners will be given their prize once the office reopens completely.
