VXT CMS Lab – Scaling Impact Beyond Borders

On a gray and clouded July 7th, 2026, Samsung R&D Institute Poland (SRPOL) in Warsaw hosted VXT CMS Lab, a hands-on technical event focused on digital signage innovation. VXT CMS (https://vxt.samsung.com) is Samsung’s award-winning Cloud based solution for Digital Signage, allowing for the remote control of B2B and commercial displays for showcasing content, helping boost sales, brand awareness, and the overall visitor experience.

This jam-packed European Display Office (EDO) & SRPOL co-hosted event converged 46 system integrators, technical consultants, and AV/IT experts originating from various European countries getting together with a single purpose – to learn advanced capabilities of the VXT platform and appreciate the key capabilities of the Samsung solution. All this packed into a full day session designed to elevate VXT knowledge to new heights!

SRPOL’s VP Jongmin Choi formally inaugurated the event with his unambiguous statement in how Samsung R&D Institute Poland is at the forefront of research and innovation, including playing a key role in the development of VXT. Next, William Sam, EDO’s Head of Solutions Integration and Delivery kicked off the session by boldly introducing Samsung’s latest VD Digital Signage LFD lineup, outlined the Samsung Knox Security features, as well as touched base with an overview of the extensive array of advanced training sessions on offer as part of Samsung Business Academy, available to Samsung Partners throughout the year!

Defining the Digital Architecture

The SRPOL lead agenda packed journey began with defining the fundamentals necessary for successful implementation. Participants went beyond traditional presentations addressed before them, instead they gained hands-on experience with the platform. The first phase of the lab focused on Organization and Workspace Management, where attendees listened to SRPOL’s veteran key speaker Adam Honek provide step by step practical guidance through a live demo spanning the VXT Dashboard and all available Settings – then built their own digital environments from the ground up through a follow the leader setup and exercises.

By configuring individual Workspaces, allocating precise numbers and types of licenses, and implementing sophisticated TagSets enabling advanced filtering and asset orchestrating practices (and later content showcases), eager participants learned how to organize complex networks of screens with operating efficiency. This foundation ensured that every attendee understood the scalability of VXT – helping simplify complex management tasks.

Ready, Set, Action – Bringing Screens to Life

As the morning and after lunch sessions progressed, focus shifted from architecture to cinematic action as all things content took helm as the main theme. The atmosphere turned artistically motional as participants moved into Screen Management and Playback. This was where theory met hardware – SRPOL diligently set up Samsung Tizen LFD Devices on each of the ten tables where attendees sat, allowing them to witness things transforming static content into dynamic experiences. Sounds captivating? Let me let you in on a secret how this was made possible. SRPOL didn’t stop at Tizen, as Samsung’s Warsaw office played home to various other supported VXT Platforms, Android, Windows, and e-Paper – north, south, east, west – it was all there regardless in which direction attendees turned their heads.

The highlight of this Screen Management and Playback session was the mastery of Remote Management. With a few easy clicks, attendees seamlessly executed screen orientation changes and managed device statuses from afar, reducing the need for physical intervention. Rising SRPOL keynote speaker Viktor Melnyk took the bright torch from Adam Honek and introduced Sync-Play and Tag-based Playlists showcasing the platform's ability to orchestrate a symphony of screens, ensuring that content moved in perfect harmony across each display.

The Art of Seduction – Content and Specialty Displays

Innovation is nothing without compelling content that captivates audiences, after all seeing is believing! The third chapter of the event pushed the boundaries of creativity a step further. Participants explored the unhindered quarters of both VXT CMS & VXT Canvas, experimenting with dynamic URL content, high-impact tickers, almost limitless template creation, and Widgets. Based on their facial reactions, SRPOL’s candid live demo presentation style ticked all the right boxes!

The excitement hit a new high with the introduction of an innovative device – Samsung E-Paper. By creating specialized content for these unique low power highly efficient displays, attendees witnessed the raw intersection of sustainability and high-tech synergy at play – without plenty of power to spare – no pun intended! It was a vivid demonstration of how VXT CMS effortlessly adapts to diverse hardware, ensuring that audiences need only to consider their very own “I have a dream” for VXT to transform the rest into reality! One thing is for sure though, SRPOL’s Viktor Melnyk undeniably delivered a victorious showdown of all this splendor during his live presentations and demos.

Entering the Era of Intelligence – AI and Spatial Mastery

The final lab session was a leap into the present future. Feeling a little déjà vu? Here, listen, let’s explain and ease the suspense. The room buzzed with enthusiasm as Generative AI took center stage. Using the native Samsung AI content orchestrating tools including AI Studio, participants weren’t limited to the Content SRPOL uploaded in preparation for the event – they could create their very own from scratch. While the saying that a picture paints a thousand words holds truth, it only took modest prompts to guide Samsung’s AI infused tools to output perfect images and videos – every single time!

From the AI Image Generator and AI Post-processing tools to the seamless Background Removal and Upscaling features, the power of AI was positioned at the fingertips of novice to advanced users alike. The experience was further elevated by the exploration of Spatial Displays, proving that the future of signage is not just flat screens, but immersive, intelligent environments that house sophisticated filmic depth.

Partnering with Industry Partners – Welcome EWQ & LDSK

The day culminated in high-level insights from two key VXT B2B Partners. This provided the final piece of the puzzle – the ability to extend the VXT ecosystem through custom integrations in the form of VXT Apps. These B2B collaborations ensure that VXT stays competitive – what Samsung offers natively in VXT, and what VXT B2B Partners such as EWQ (https://ewq.zone) and LDSK (https://ldsk.io) inject through their own in-house creativity and market experience, each in their respective fields. EWQ is a European market leader in queue management digital in-store solutions, LDSK meanwhile is a key technology partner for media owners providing advanced advertisement orchestration solutions. SRPOL earlier proudly participated in bringing these Partners to VXT through its involvement in various support practices, including training on VXT App Development through to VXT App SQA initiatives.

Beyond the Lab – Samsung’s Showroom welcomes for a visit!

Learning was extended beyond laptops and lab tables, and included an opportunity for attendees to stretch their legs while staying firmly footed high up on the 23rd floor of Warsaw Spire. A grand tour of the vast Business Experience Centre, Samsung R&D Institute Poland’s showroom, led by SRPOL’s very own “Hightower” Mateusz Obidziński, VXT evangelist Christian Pulawski, and multi-faceted Victor Melnyk allowed participants to witness these and other technologies deployed within live, real-world, and working scenarios alongside unforgettable skylines over Warsaw.

VXT innovation continues to create impact

Participants left Warsaw not just with new skills, but with a new perspective on VXT. The EDO and SRPOL held VXT CMS Lab event succeeded in transforming technical experts into VXT power users. They departed home equipped with the tools to lead the next wave of digital transformation, ready to implement bold, market-orientated and AI-driven visual strategies that will strengthen Samsung VXT’s stronghold within the digital signage industry!

Once experienced, VXT Lab leaves a lasting impression, for VXT Lab will return, soon! VXT Lab is all about making believe, filling a market void and desire for in-person training with substance that not only forges new, and strengthens existing B2B relationships, but equally facilitates Samsung’s growth as the No. 1 Leader in Digital Signage. See you in the fall of 2026, when both EDO and SRPOL will once again converge and make an impact.
