On March 10, 2025, Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD) officially inaugurated its new SmartThings Experience Zone, a dedicated space designed to showcase the capabilities of Samsung’s IoT Smart Home products while serving as an innovative testbed for SRBD engineers to explore and develop new ideas for SmartThings.

Located on the 4th floor of SRBD’s premises, the SmartThings Experience Zone provides engineers with a comprehensive smart home experience, featuring a range of cutting-edge devices such as Smart TVs, Security Cameras, Smart Plugs, Smart Speakers, and more.

During the inauguration, Jaeyeon Jung, Executive Vice President and Head of SmartThings Team, was on a visit to SRBD. EVP Jung was present alongside SRBD’s Managing Director, CFO, Team Heads, Group Heads, and engineers from SRBD’s SmartThings projects.

This initiative underscores SRBD’s commitment to fostering innovation and enhancing its expertise in the rapidly evolving field of IoT and smart home technology.
