Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh Hosts 'SRBD Code Contest 2025'

Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD) successfully hosted the final round of the SRBD Code Contest 2025 on October 24, 2025, at its premises. This year's competition drew over 2,300 participants from more than 150 educational institutions across Bangladesh. Following a rigorous selection process, only 50 contestants advanced to the final round.

The contest began with a demanding online elimination round, where competitors tackled a series of complex problems designed to test core programming proficiency. The final round, held live and onsite at SRBD, featured a highly challenging set of questions. Contestants were given only a few hours to solve the problem, pushing their skills to the absolute limit.

The fiercely competitive final round resulted in victory for Arman Ferdous of Brac University, who was crowned champion. Nayeem Hossain Ahad from the Islamic University of Technology secured the 1st Runner-Up position, and Rubayat-E-Zaman from Bangladesh Institute of Engineering and Technology was named the 2nd Runner-Up. In total, 10 competitors received prestigious medals and prizes for their exceptional performance.

The event concluded with a special closing and prize-giving ceremony. Mr. Wonmo Ku, Managing Director of SRBD, addressed the winners, praising their immense talent and dedication, and highlighting the importance of fostering a strong coding culture in the country. He then presented the prizes and medals to the top 10 contestants.
