Samsung EU B2B Technical Summit for Solutions and Services conference was held in Samsung R&D Institute Poland (SRPOL), between May 17-19, 2022. This event was organized by B2B Sales Support Group with a strong collaboration and support of SRPOL management MD Yuna Kim and VP James Jongmin Choi, as well as Knox Partners Program (KPP) and Regional Technical Account Management Global team representatives: Donnie Kim and Leo Jung. It brought together over 100 participants: Samsung Technical Account Managers from all over Europe as well as key Samsung Partners, and became a great place for getting acquainted with Knox Product updates and roadmaps, sharing best practices, exchanging knowledge and experience, presenting strong KPP community at international level as well as expanding cooperation between Samsung local teams and Samsung’s partners.
Samsung EU B2B Technical Summit was a unique conference as it was the first post-pandemic onsite event. Dozens of people made the decision to attend in person, while those who couldn’t join onsite or did not feel comfortable travelling had an opportunity to watch the conference live as the sessions were also broadcasted and recorded for later use. As a result, this became the first truly hybrid event hosted by SRPOL, so we are even more thrilled that we had a chance to gather onsite and virtual participants together.
The first day of the conference was dedicated to KPP European partners which were invited to present and showcase their solutions to a wide Samsung EU pre-sales audience. The event started with a welcome speeches by Yuna Kim, Managing Director of Samsung R&D Institute Poland and EVP KC Choi, Head of Samsung Global Mobile B2B Team, followed by “KPP Mission Update” presented by Donnie Kim, Head of B2B Partnership Part at HQ and Wojciech Kajder, Head of KPP Part at SRPOL, which was a great introduction to the event, stimulation of participants’ dialogue and mutual strategy alignment.
The key block of the agenda was dedicated to Samsung Partners to present solutions for industry verticals, such as Manage & Secure, Frontline, Healthcare and Critical Communication. Overall, Samsung Partners had 18 short sessions, introducing their products and solutions based on customer cases. After the lectures, visitors were given an opportunity to continue discussions with partners, see live demos of the products, experience solutions and innovations on their own in Mobile B2B Innovation Center, which is one of our top and most famous assets in Warsaw. It’s also recognized globally by Samsung partners. It attracts customers and partners from the entire region to visit our competence center, touch and discuss mobile technology innovations, and exchange ideas with our local experts from various divisions.
The main goal of the second day of the conference was to share knowledge, latest roadmaps and updates about Knox Products & Services, as well as discussing business challenges and upcoming product features which might help to address them. The main point on the agenda for that day was “B2B PM Strategy” session led by Leo Jung who was representing HQ B2B Product Management Group. It was an essential part to dive deep into global sales approach for Samsung B2B products and get full alignment across all European subsidiaries when it comes to strategy executions.
The last day of the event was focused on Global Partners and their key role to develop and expand the market. Microsoft, VMware, SOTI, Blackberry and others shared their point of view on collaboration with Samsung, and presented their products and services to supplement Samsung’s portfolio and jointly create a strong value proposition for our customers.
Samsung EU B2B Technical Summit for Solutions and Services conference proven to be very successful not only in terms of business and technology updates, but it also offered a unique networking opportunity for those who participated in person. We observed that after 2+ years of the pandemic break, all attendees demonstrated a huge hunger for interaction, direct discussions and it was immediately apparent that networking was a top priority for everyone from the moment of arriving to Warsaw Spire.
