Summary of the winning projects
[safety] First place – “Safe return home, any time of day or night”
Secondary school students from Bielsk Podlaski designed an innovative phone app sending location messages to the loved ones of those returning home late. The app is also capable of finding the safest route home and allows to quickly alert the emergency services. The Jury has appreciated the simplicity and functionality of the winning project.

[climate] Second place – “Seaweeds vs. CO2”
Students from Warsaw have been distinguished for their climate-related project. The device they designed relies on AI and seaweeds to clean the air at home and recover material used for manufacturing bioplastics. The project was standing out thanks to its innovative nature and a mature business approach adopted by the participants.

[climate] Third place – “Fertilizer needed now”
Secondary students from Gryfino impressed the Jury with their design of a simple, low-budget machine used for making fertilizer at home. The device relies on bio-degradable household waste and speeds up the process of producing high-quality fertilizer, thus reducing the use of its artificial equivalent.

[health] Audience award – “MASK off”
The all-female Jagiellonian University team received 1,180 votes. Their “Mask off” project highlights the problem of mental disorders and stresses the need to create an anonymous app that will meet the needs of those suffering from such problems.
